Welcome

It all started in Skåne, the region which is squeezed in between Sweden and Denmark. My father was a musician - accordeonist - and, of course, I was to follow in the same profession. It was my contrabass and my electirc bass that earned my living for some twenty years before I hibernated, and started my second career as an assistant auditor.

Audit took me out into Europe. In 1996 I started working at the European Commission, later at the European Court of Auditors, and in 2007 I retired from the Internal Audit at the European Parliament.

Anyway, I never quite gave up music.

Nowadays, I'm composing, writing lyrics and doing translations, back and forth between English, French, German and Swedish. One of my poems "Vinternatten" (the Winter Night) became a choir work with music by the Finnish composer Juhan Komulainen. Sometimes I also write the music, for example I was asked to write the music for ten poems of the German Josef Zipfl.
